You enter the property via the top gate which leads you to the entrance via a split road driveway.

The entrance lobby is expansive and affords a sense of occasion to arriving home –  a charming gingerbread fanlight crowns the front door – it is simply furnished and opens directly on to the sitting room.

The wide verandah runs the entire width of the house and wraps around the sides of this property, it is trimmed in white railings and gingerbread, evoking a sense of old world Caribbean charm that the likes of Graham Green would have appreciated!  The verandah can be accessed off every main room, including all 3 bedrooms –  and here is where you will spend the bulk of your time.

Sitting Room

The spacious sitting room is furnished with a large L-shaped sofa, TV and occasional chairs and ceiling fan. Recessed book shelves complete the room.

Kitchen

Fitted with traditional louvred wooden cabinets, large American stainless steel fridge, dish washer, stove and ceiling fan.  The double door to the verandah is accented by antique stained glass.

Master Suite

Flanking one side of the house the generous master suiter is all about space and privacy.  Centre stage is a wooden four poster bed crafted on island. A large walk in wardrobe is fitted with hanging and shelving and the recently remodeled shower room complete the suite.

Laundry

The large laundry room comes with washer and dryer and ample space for ironing and all linen storage and is very conveniently situated.

Guest Bedroom 1

Queen sized bedroom with bed, fitted wardrobes, night stands and ceiling fan.

Guest Bedroom 2

Currently being used as an office it also has fully fitted wardobes and ceiling fan.

Bathroom

A shared bathroom in the corridor is accessible by both guest bedrooms.

A powder room with shower is available in the hallway.

Downstairs

The downstairs is a blank canvas, it is painted but has been left for the new owners to decide how to use the space – it could easily be a gym, work spaces – the options are endless.

Garage

The large garage is accessed directly from the lower gate, it is currently used for storage.

The Garden

The wonderful in-ground turquoise pool is off the side of the house, affording ultimate privacy for swimmers and splashers alike.  The large surrounding sun deck is the perfect spot to lie back and catch some rays.

The gardens are extensive and have several paths winding through to explore all the flora and fauna.  The gardens used to be on the itinerary for specialist garden tours and you will still see the name plates on some special plants.

There are several hideaway spots in the garden and a wonderful gazebo is tucked down the bottom which is the perfect place for getting lost in a good book.
